Call to ACTCion (5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk for Hunger Awareness)
Register to Help Feed the Hungry
Join the first "Call to ACTCion: 5K Run/1.5 Mile Walk" spearheaded by Towson Presbyterian Church to support the Assistance Center of Towson Churches. ACTC, an ecumenical group of churches, provides food and other emergency services for needy individuals and families in the community, including 21 zip codes in central Baltimore County. There will be a Timing Clock at the finish line and participants will receive a Certificate of Participation Appreciation for their support.
Date: Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 5 p.m.
Race Day Check-in: Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 4:00 p.m.-4:45 p.m.
Place: Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, MD
All Proceeds Donated to: Assistance Center of Towson Churches
Entry Fee: $25 to pre-register, due May 25; $35 for Event Day registration. Register using online form (below) or printable registration form. Payable by cash, check or PayPal (below). Pre-register by May 25 for T-shirts. We cannot guarantee T-shirts for all Event Day registrations.
Sponsors: Raise additional funds by obtaining sponsorships.
Participant Procedures: Please collect all sponsor and donor contributions in advance and mail them to the address listed below or pay with online registration. You may also choose to turn them in at the appropriate registration table the day of the Run/Walk. All pre-registration participants are asked to meet or exceed the $25 registration fee by raising additional funds through sponsors.
