Safeguarding Young People and Adults

At the Young Women's Outreach Project we promote a positive culture of Safeguarding and believe that all children and young people have the right to be protected from harm. Whilst our work with young women is confidential, if a disclosure is made where the young person or someone else is at risk of significant harm, this is always reported to the relevant services. We support young people, and if appropriate their families, throughout the safeguarding process, keeping them informed, ensuring they are listened to and protected from further harm.
