Our Work

Our work at the Young Women's Project is varied, flexible and responsive and uses a range of methods and settings to meet the aims of the Project and the needs of young women.

We work with individuals offering one to one support, guidance, hand holding, advocacy and access to information. We provide safe, stimulating group work where programmes are based on the needs, interests and issues that each group has.

We provide and promote training for young women, volunteers and workers.

We work in partnership with other agencies, charities and services to make sure young women are getting the best holistic support that is available to them.

We offer specialist support and deliver the Freedom Programme, provide Child Sexual Exploitation workshops, offer an in house counselling service, outreach provision to provide young mothers with information, advice and guidance and also have a Young Parenting Programme which is tailored to meet the needs of both parents.
