A Mask for Every Mascot

Some of Wyoming's high schools moved their ceremonies to Frontier Park to promote social distancing. School spirit was in full swing despite the changed locale, with every student given mascot-themed masks to wear for COVID-19 safety.

This mask was from Cheyenne's Triumph High School, with their Spartan emblem in the bottom lefthand corner. The Triumph graduates walked across the stage in Frontier Park on Saturday, June 12, 2020 at 9:30am.

This mask was from Cheyenne's Central High School, with their mascot emblem in the bottom lefthand corner. The Central High School graduates got their diplomas in Frontier Park on Saturday, June 12, 2020 at 1:30pm.

This mask was from Cheyenne's East High School, with their Thunderbird emblem in the bottom lefthand corner. East High School was one of many high schools in Cheyenne that had a postponed graduation. The graduates donned their caps and gowns in Frontier Park on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 9:30am.

This mask was from Cheyenne's South High School, with their mascot emblem in the bottom lefthand corner. The South High School graduates had their ceremony in Frontier Park on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1:30pm.

Congrats Grads! Finding different ways to celebrate

This East High School grad had a yard sign celebrating his accomplishment. Yard signs like this one were given to all of the Laramie County School District #1 graduates at no cost to the student.

Tickets on Tickets on Tickets

Central High School printed tickets for their graduation ceremony and for parking, and had designated seating areas for audience members to encourage proper social distancing.
