Prayers for January 27, 2013

During National Lutheran Schools Week we pray for our Lutheran parochial schools.

We pray for Emmett Otto Segelhorst who will be welcomed into God's family through the washing of Holy Baptism.

We pray for our shut-ins: Marvin, Beatrice, Pauline, Gladys and Lucille.

We pray for the sick: Frank Petrovic, Viola Harriss, Taylor Crane, Steve Kehrer, Glenn Backs, Gary Helbig, Gordon Kehrer, Betty Ford, Linda Backs, Marilyn Going and Anna May Stone.

We pray for those who suffer from mental illness.

We pray for our armed forces, especially Zachery Wiesner who is deployed.

We pray for the leaders of our government.

We pray for Mark Harriss as he studies for the Office of the Holy Ministry.

We pray for the leaders of our church body and for our missionaries.
