Prayers for December 30, 2012

Let us pray for the universities and seminaries of our Synod and all who teach and learn there, especially Mark Harriss as he prepares for the Office of the Holy Ministry.

Let us pray for our missionaries especially those at the Unity Mission School, the prisons of our district and the Lutheran Church in South Africa.

Let us pray for our government and its leaders, our armed forces, and for Zachery Wiesner who is deployed.

Let us pray for the sick: Viola Harriss, Taylor Crane, Betty Ford, Anna May Stone, Merle Borrenpohl, Linda Backs and Frank Petrovic.

Let us pray for those suffering from mental illness.

Let us pray for our shut-ins: Marvin, Pauline, Lucille, Beatrice and Gladys.
