Prayers for January 13, 2013

Let us pray that we would treasure in our hearts all that God has done for us.

Let us pray for those preparing for Holy Baptism and for those who are studying the catechism preparing for confirmation.

Let us pray for all Pastors and for Mark Harriss as he prepares for the Office of the Holy Ministry.

Let us pray for the leaders of our government and for our armed forces, remembering especially Zachery Wiesner who is deployed.

Let us pray for the sick: Viola Harriss, Glenn Backs, Gary Helbig, Betty Ford, Anna May Stone, Linda Backs, Frank Petrovic and Marilyn Going.

Let us pray for our shut-ins: Marvin, Pauline, Gladys, Beatrice and Lucille.

Let us pray for families, pregnant women and mothers, the elderly, the widowed and the orphaned.
