Prayers for December 9, 2012

Let us pray for the universities and seminaries of our Synod and for Mark Harriss as he prepares for the Office of the Pastoral Ministry.

Let us pray for missionaries in Alaska, at the Unity Mission School and the prisons of our district.

Let us pray for President Scharr and Bishop Webern as they prepare for the convention of the Lutheran Church of South Africa.

Let us pray for our government, for our armed forces, and for Zachery Wiesner who is deployed.

Let us pray for the sick: Brigit Murphy, Betty Ford, Anna May Stone, Jim Brown, Merle Borrenpohl, Taylor Crane, Viola Harriss, and Frank Petrovic.

Let us pray for our shut-ins: Marvin, Beatrice, Pauline, Gladys and Lucille.
