Prayers for January 20, 2013

We pray for the protection and care of life in the womb.

We pray for the sick: Viola Harriss, Taylor Crane, Glenn Backs, Gary Helbig, Betty Ford, Anna May Stone, Linda Backs, Frank Petrovic and Marilyn Going.

Let us pray for our shut-ins: Marvin, Pauline, Beatrice, Lucille and Gladys.

Let us pray for our nation, its leaders, our armed forces, and for Zachery Wiesner who is deployed.

Let us pray for pastors, missionaries, the universities and seminaries of our church body, and for Mark Harriss as he prepares for the Office of the Holy Ministry.

Let us pray that the Church would life up the cross of Christ everywhere.
