It is recommended that Ham Radio Operators take the following recommended FEMA ICS training classes. IS-100-b, IS-200-b, IS-700-a, and IS-800-b.
These classes can be taken on-line and after completion you can print out a certificate of completion.
The classes provide an awareness of the Incident Command System which is used in every emergency.
The standard means of communication is the ICS-213 form. The RBERS ICS-213 is our form and a sample was handed out at the meeting.
Check out our web site. We have added new links including info on Rattlesnakes, and Pet care in a disaster.
