Beute Tanks
The following list is almost entirely based on information from Beute-Tanks (2011) Vol. 1 and 2, Rainer Strasheim (S74 and S75).
The tanks histories are only usually given after their capture.
The Germans numbered the captured tanks as they repaired them. Females were numbered 101 onwards and males 201 onwards.
One of the captured whippets was numbered 52 .
These German numbers were initially painted in large white on the rear of the tank, after April or May 1918 they were instead displayed on the inside of the access doors. (S74.P74)
The Beute tanks are listed by German number and then by names if known.
