Engine 22

Engine 22 is a 2006 Typhoon Custom Class “A” Side Mount Pumper. It has a 6 person cab, a 1500 gallon per minute pump, 720 gallons of on-board water and 30 gallons of on-board foam. Engine 22 has four preconnected hose lines to attack fires and carries over 1,400 feet of supply hose. It was the first truck in our fleet to feature our new paint scheme, black over red. Engine 22 is primarily used for structural related fires and brush / refuse fires. 

Squad 22

Squad 22 is a 1994 Saulsbury Custom Class "A" Top Mount Pumper that was refurbished in 2010. It can have a maximum crew of six firefighters. As you can see in the photo, the pump operator stands off the ground behind the cab when operating the truck which increases safety when operating on the roadway. The pump is rated at 1,500 gallons per minute and has a 1,000 gallon water tank onboard. It also has a 30 gallon Class A Foam tank onboard. Squad 22 has three preconnected hose lines to attack fires and carries over 1,400 feet of supply hose. It has an onboard generator and telescoping scene lights for night operations. In addition to the fire suppression equipment carried on this truck, it also has a variety of rescue tools. It carries a complete set of Hurst Extrication Tools to extricate people from vehicles after a motor vehicle accident or other similar situation. This truck can act as an Engine Company and or Rescue Company making it our most versatile truck. Squad 22 is first due to incidents involving motor vehicles such as motor vehicle accidents, vehicle fires and other general rescue calls. It is also our primary unit when providing mutual aid to neighboring departments due to the wide variety of calls it can handle on it's own if necessary. 

Pumper-Tanker 22 

Pumper-Tanker 22 is a 2010 E-One Classic on a Kenworth Chassis. This trucks primary function is to bring water to the scene of a fire outside the hydrant district. Pumper-Tanker 22 has a 2,100 gallon water tank and a 1250 gallon per minute pump. With a pump of this size, this truck is also able to function as an Engine in or out of the hydrant district. Pumper-Tanker 22 is equipped with much of the same equipment carried on our Engine. By having the larger pump and additional equipment on this truck, it is much more versatile than a standard fire department tanker.  For large fires in the hydrant district, this truck can act as an additional engine.  

Utility 22

Utility 22 is a 2007 Ford F-350 that is 4-wheel drive. This truck is equipped with a 250 gallon per minute pump and 250 gallon water tank. It also has a 5 gallon Class "A" Foam tank on board. This truck is pump and roll capable mean it can be pumping water to hand lines fighting fire while the truck is being driven.  This truck serves multiple purposes and responds to a variety of calls. It primarily responds to brush and refuse fires. In addition to responding to these types of fires, the truck responds to a variety of other calls as a support vehicle to assist with traffic control. It is equipped with a large number of traffic control devices for traffic management.  This truck is also used to tow our boats and U.T.V.  

Rescue 22

Rescue 22 is a 1991 Volvo / Saulsbury Walk-In Rescue.  It is equipped with a large on-board generator and cascade system.  This truck carries a wide variety of rescue tools and equipment.  In addition, it carries a large amount of hazardous materials mitigation equipment.  It also carries a large amount of E.M.S. equipment for mass casualty incidents.  This truck can act as a mobile command post if needed with built in WiFi and command desks.  It can carry 6 crew members.  

Telesquirt 22

Telesquirt 22 is a 1995 Spartan/Saulsbury/Snorkel 65' Telesqurt. The truck was reconditioned in 2018. This truck has a 6 man cab with all S.C.B.A. seats, a 2000 gallon per minute pump, and 500 gallon water tank. The nozzle on the elevated water way has more maneuverability and is capable of delivering 1,000 gallons of water per minute to a fire. There is an onboard diesel generator with electrical power being supplied to the tip of the ladder as well as the body of the truck.  The aerial device which is NFPA rated for climbing can extend to 65 feet. This truck is fully equipped to handle all of the duties of a Truck Company in addition to those of an Engine Company on the fire ground. 

Car 22

Car 22 is a Dodge Ram 3500.  This truck is primarily used by our Duty Officer for incident command or as a personnel transport vehicle.  It is also used to transport special equipment when needed. 

A.T.V. 22 

A.T.V. 22 is a Kubota 4X4 U.T.V.  It is equipped with a skid unit that contains a removable 65 G.P.M. Pump and has a 70 Gallon Water Tank.  This unit is also capable of drafting from a water source if needed.  In a rescue situation, this unit is capable of carrying a stokes basket to remove an injured person from a remote or limited access area.  This unit is used primarily for brush fire and other wildland rescue incidents.  It is also used during our many street fairs and festivals.         


Boat 22-1

Boat 22-1 is a 12 foot, hard bottom, inflatable Zodiac.  This boat is primarily used on our lakes and reservoir.

Boat 22-2

Boat 22-2 is a 6 foot, flat bottom, inflatable boat.  This boat is primarily used on our river in non-flooding conditions and for ice rescue.
