  1. Tell us a little about yourself!
"I’m a student at NYU majoring in Media, Culture, and Communications with an emphasis in Politics and Entertainment. So although I live in New York City now, I’m not quite really from anywhere. Hardly anyone who lives in Manhattan is actually from Manhattan; personally, I’m a military brat (my dad is a retired Naval captain) and have lived in upwards of seven various locations, including Belgium. I was a musical theatre kid the 17 years before university, and I still absolutely love singing, dancing, performing, etc… That’s probably one of the reasons I started a TikTok! Aside from that, some favorites include dining out, makeup, sightseeing, Dexter (the TV show haha), and co-hosting the podcast “Crying in Public.” Speaking of work, I also intern at a PR firm, write for a magazine, edit for a PhD candidate, and then of course - TikTok, YouTube, and the podcast." -Sarah

  2. What’s your go to fall outfit in NYC?

"My go-to fall outfit is not complete without a blazer. Whether it’s a bright magenta set from ZARA or a custom-made, baby pink jacket with fringe, I usually pair this asset with Levi jeans / slacks, a cable-knit sweater, and any type of heels. Walking is essential in New York City; low heels are usually my solution to that. I’m used to three-inch LaDucas from my time on the stage, so anything below that is small potatoes. :) My faves are a pair of white, scrappy mules from Steve Madden." -Sarah

  1. How would you describe your style and personality?

"As you can probably tell based off of my last answer, business casual is definitely my default, especially when the weather gets colder. When I’m not in a mock neck turtleneck or button-down, however, I love dresses, skirts, and anything with lace or ruffles. I try to embody chic, elegance, and vibrance when I dress, so streetstyle, bohemian, and grunge are my foes (as fabulous as they may look on others)! If I do want to style an outfit on a more “mundane" day, one can probably find me in vintage. I like to say that I partner my extroverted and energetic personality with calmer notes of fashion such as blazers; but I often can’t resist inserting a touch of bright red, pink, or baby blue in my style." -Sarah

  1. Has living in the Big Apple affected your fashion sense in any way?
"To say that living in the city has “affected" my fashion sense would be an understatement (haha)! Bohemian rompers, leggings, Ugg boots practically dominated my closet during high school. Don’t get me wrong - I knew it was a problem; I knew I had to change. Acceptance is the first step, after all. And soon enough, I was packing my bags and moving to one of the most fashionably iconic cities in the world. My transition period included browsing first at Free People and Urban Outfitters, then to department stores like Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus, and finally moving on to ZARA, Aritzia, and my obsession with sample sales… all with a touch of designer throughout (my Cartier love ring is one of my favorite accessories to date)." -Sarah

  2. What are your top three favorite clothing brands?
"Some popular ones would probably be ZARA and Aritzia (hence the business casual / chic-ness of it all). Designer-wise, I’d consider myself a Christian Dior, YSL, and Cartier girl. I’m also obsessed with this little shop on Prince St. called Isalis." -Sarah

  3. Do you have any tips for growing as an influencer on social media?

"The biggest tip I could possible describe is to make yourself stand out. What makes you different from that OTHER girl who likes to mix cocktails on camera, or from that guy who does cool renditions of the HOOPLA dance trend on TikTok? If you not only know what makes you special and unique, but are also completely confident and unapologetic about it, you’ll have all the tools you need to make a name and a brand for yourself. Logistic-wise, reaching out to brands about partnerships and doing proactive research on brand growth is a great way to get your name out there. The more you act like a professional, the more people will believe you are, as well, even if you genuinely have no clue what you’re doing. :)" -Sarah
