Hi! My name is Nicka and I am one of the writers, fashion bloggers and editor for Trendsetter. I've always been interested in the wide world of fashion! Living in New York City when I was younger, I was amongst many people with style, which includes my mom. My mom is the most fashionable person I know and I've gotten most of my inspiration from her. I've always wanted to start a blog and have recently found a love for writing, so I figured I could put fashion and writing into one. I am also a published writer for The Teen Magazine online, which has helped me learn more about writing, editing and publishing. I dream of writing for a fashion magazine when I'm older and hoping this could be the start! This site will be a place where fashion lovers could hopefully find inspiration for outfits, as our team will be doing lots of research to find upcoming trends! Hi, I'm Sam and also one of the writers and fashion bloggers for Trendsetter. I found my desire for fashion this past summer after traveling to Greece, Croatia, Italy, and New York. The fashion diversity amongst these places really caught my eye and got me to become more interested. I learned more about fashion when I was asked to write a paper in English class about a future career I would possible like to pursue. I chose to research a career in the field of fashion and came to a final conclusion that a goal I have is to be a fashion designer. With that being said, I took my interest further and applied to the School of NY Times Summer Academy for the fashion program and got accepted. I am so excited to say that I will be attending this summer! This site will be a great place for people to explore with interest in fashion and a good place to find styling ideas. Enjoy!
