We're Also Teaming Up with a new nursery in town- Left Field Garden Supply!
We're so excited to be working with Left Field Garden Supply- your new go-to spot in SE Portland for chicken supplies! Opening in late January at SE 65th and SE Foster (right next to Off the Griddle), we're so glad to have them in the neighborhood!
You'll be able to pick up chicks at Left Field Garden Supply on Sundays of chick pickup weekends (see Chick Season 2022 for dates). They will also be stocking chick and chicken feed, chicken treats, and waterers and feeders.

We're Teaming Up with Livingscape Nursery for Chick Season!
I first learned about urban chicken keeping from Livingscape Nursery in the early 2000s. Having the opportunity to provide chicks for the Livingscape customers and introduce new and established chicken keepers to Livingscape Nursery feels very special.
You'll be able to pick up chicks at Livingscape Nursery (see Chick Season 2022 for dates) as well as pick up and drop off Brooder Rental Kits. They also stock chick and chicken feed, various bedding materials, chicken treats, chicken books, and waterers and feeders. Livingscape also has a fantastic selection of other (aka non-chicken focused) goodies!

Brooder Rental Kits will be Available for Chick Season 2022!
Buying brooder equipment is expensive and unless you plan on raising chicks regularly, it might not be an investment you're ready to make. So rent! We'll be offering brooder rental kits that include a heat plate (so much safer and more energy efficient than the traditional heat lamp), a chick sized drip waterer and a chick sized feeder. You'll be able to sign up for a brooder rental kit when reserving your chicks! More info here!
