Slide 1: Short bio about yourself and your time at Elkins Theatre include any classes and shows you have been a part of.
Slide 2: What is an officer and why do YOU want to be one?
- what makes a good officer?
- why do you want to be one?
- what do you bring to the table?
Slide 3: Specify what position you are running for and what your qualifications are for that position.
Slide 4: What do you love about ETC and why?
Slide 5: What needs improvement in ETC and how can we address those needs?
Slide 6: Give us one idea you have for the upcoming school year. ( Ex. events, fundraisers, community building, ensemble building activity, etc.)
Slide 7: Promotional video
- Create a 90 sec. min campaign video promoting yourself and letting people know why YOU should be elected.

OFFICER REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for all elected officers are as follows:
Officers MUST maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Officers MUST maintain a 90% attendance rate in all classes at Elkins High School.
Officers MUST be an active inducted thespian for at least one school year.
Officers MUST attend bi-weekly officer meetings. *
Officers MUST attend all club meetings. *
Officers MUST work all fundraisers.
Officers MUST be involved in all shows.
Officers MUST chair at least one activity.
Officers MUST act as appropriate role models for the department.
OFFICER DUTIES
President
Presides over all drama club meetings.
Sets club agenda and overall goals/projects/philosophy/etc.
Organizes and supervises Formal Thespian Induction and Senior Recognition.
Oversees planning of all drama club activities and receives reports of the other officers.
Responsible for communication and coordination with club sponsor(s).
In charge of fundraisers and community service projects.
Vice President
Presides over drama club meetings in the President's absence.
Develops a publicity campaign for all club events.
Organizes a new member welcome party and end-of-the-year banquet.
Responsible for the recruitment of new members.
Organizes a Big/Little program.
Secretary
Responsible for all communication of the club (announcements, press releases, flyers, communication with other clubs, community, etc.).
Maintains membership roster and records.
Keeps meeting minutes and shares with all relevant persons.
Maintains Thespian point records and recommends members for honors based on points.
Assists VP with publicity campaigns for all club events.
Responsible for all social media accounts along with the Historian
Treasurer
Assists the President in the supervision and organization of fundraisers (at least 2 per year).
Maintains all financial records for the club.
Collects and records receipts of all financial transactions for the club.
Supervises the administration and record-keeping for State Conference field trips.
Assigns work schedule for any fundraisers.
Historian
Maintains the general record of ALL ETC activities.
Keeps and maintains the drama club scrapbook.
Takes pictures and quotes and keeps club memorabilia.
In charge of the publicity board for each show.
Makes the slide show for the Awards Banquet.
Responsible for all social media accounts along with the Secretary
Ambassador
Arranges and organizes cooperative activities with outside groups.
Organizes and presides over Haunted House and “S.O.A.P.s”
Leads outreach to theatre programs.
