What to PREPARE for your auditions:

- 30 second monologue from a Contemporary play. (NOT classical and NOT from anything other than a play!)

For your audition DAY 1 you will perform your monologue and then you will be dismissed. 

Do not forget to introduce yourself before your audition: "Hello my name is (insert your name) I will be performing a monologue from ____________ as the character of ____________. Thank you."

Call Backs:  This Audition will include: 

- Acting: Solo cold readings and duet cold readings. Please be prepared to receive your excerpt, study it for a short time, and then perform the piece given to you.

DESIGN SUBMISSION

In order to be considered for a technical role in UIL OAP you are required to submit a design idea for our show, Rabbit Hole. This is what we're looking for:

-- A conceptual idea - this means that while it certainly can include details like full renderings it does not have to include details like that

-- Some visual aid to help support your thoughts

                 -- this could be something like a mood board, drawn or digitally rendered designs, collage of images, short video etc.

-- EITHER something specific to one area of design OR an overall design concept for the whole show. 

-- Please do NOT submit a specific design for one specific aspect. ie. A single costume design for Becca, or one sound effect.

-- This should look like a written concept of about 5-10 lines of info, bullet points, sentences, etc. along with a visual aid of some kinds helping to illustrate the idea.
