Drag Race

“There and Back Drag Race”

Throughout the day students will participate in time trial qualifiers with their robots. At the end of the day, the students with the best 10 times in the trials will participate in double elimination rounds. 

Objective:  Build a robot that can travel 10 meters (32.80 feet) out and then return to the start line.

Rules: The robots will drag race on the gym floor, out and back over a line for a time. Teams are ranked by time.

The start line & turnaround lines will be made from "2-inch" blue painter's tape. The robots will start fully behind the start line and must partially cross over the turnaround line. The time will stop when the robot fully crosses the start line.
