Bucket Ball Challenge 2.1
Robot will start in the 12"x12" base. The maximum height of the robot is 12" and it must fit completely in the base. The goal is for the robot to score the maximum number of points,
Students will start with 2 table tennis balls. The balls can be placed on the robot by hand any time it is in base.
The students may touch the robot when it is at the base.
If the robot is touched outside of base, the field will be reset and the students may start the challenge over.
The robot may return to base as often as you want.
Points will be awarded for the following events:
Placing a ball into one or both of the buckets. A standard 16 oz Solo cup will be used (3 points per cup). Only 1 ball per cup is allowed.
Bringing a filled bucket to the base (3 points per cup).
For each of the 10 randomly placed Jenga blocks returned to base (1 point each)
For each of the 10 randomly placed Jenga blocks placed behind the black target line (2 points each)
note: you can only score once for each block.
Pushing a cup off the board or behind the black target line (deduct 3 points)
