Thorsten Kahnt
Dr. rer. nat. Thorsten Kahnt was a PhD student in the lab from 2007 to 2011. After being a Postdoc at the Department of Economics, University of Zurich, he is now an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. During his PhD, he studied reward-based as well as perceptual learning and decision making using a combination of fMRI, computational modeling and multivariate decoding techniques. In 2011, he was awarded the PhD Prize of the Berliner Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft.
