Small Classes At De Bron

De Bron was the school of quiet small classes, namely 2 classes: group 3,4,5 together and group 6,7,8 together. I entered in group 4 and stayed until the end of group 6.  My group consisted of 9 children and was the biggest. 

The Two Biggest Memories Of De Bron

Two things have stayed with me

• How I went from a child who had only learned Papiamento in kindergarten to a child who spoke almost only Dutch when leaving The Netherlands in the summer of 1988. 

• How one of my classmates Micha died of cancer because his body did not accept the donor kidney and how all this was explained well in the class. Talking about things can make people understand things, something that is not possible on my native island, Curaçao.
