Dr. Hennings was bestowed a great honor to has served on the panel of jurors for the annual Howard Hanson Auditions for the senior students of the Rochester area on March 3rd, 2024.

Dr. Hennings served as the adjudicator at the Gold Cup Music Festival in Rochester in January 2018,19

2017 FLPM Studio Recital at the Granger Homestead Museum during the Festival of Trees.

Mrs. Natalya Hennings gave a presentation of the Russian Classical School of Piano Playing at the Rochester Piano Teachers' Guild, Inc. at the Denton, Cottier & Daniels Steinway Piano dealers center on November 10, 2017 at 10 am.

2017 Nazareth College Piano Competition at the Wilmot Recital Hall, September 24:

Great news for the Studio!  Michael Samodurov has just won an Honorable Mention at the 2017 Nazareth College Piano Competition, which was a high honor for any participants.  Kudos to Mike!  There are two links to his performance:

Mike Samodurov has been working on the two pieces to enter the 2017 Nazareth College Piano Competition in senior division on Sunday, September 24th at Wimot Hall, Nazareth College.

Rochester Piano Club on August 6, 2017 at 2 pm.   Mike S. performed Alla Turca (Turkish March) by Mozart and Song from the Sea Pieces by MacDowell.  Dr. Natalya Hennings performed Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven and Prelude #2 from WTC by Bach.

Our student Diane B. and Dr. Natalya performed at the Vine Valley Community Summer Concert on July 1st, 2017.  They played a duet The Song of India by Rimsky-Korsakov. 

Upcoming Rochester Piano Club meeting in Mendon's home. 

Dr. Natalya has joined the Rochester Piano Club in the summer of 2016, and has performed there five times with various music including music of Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, MacDowell, Albeniz and others.

My students Joie, Rachael and Isaiah performed at the 2015 Granger Festivals of Trees.

April, 2015

Dr. Natalya Hennings accompanied Reagan Reed, level 6, Violin Concerto by Viotti #23 Mvt. 1 Allegro for NYSSMA solo festival audition at Canandaigua Academy.  Reagan received grade of 98 out of 100.

2014

On December 13, 2014 at Granger Homestead during the 2014 Festival of Trees we had our small recital of Rachael Hoh, Mike Samodurov, Joie Mentry  and  Dr.  Natalya Hennings.  Granger Homestead boasts it's wonderful antique grand piano Steinway & Sons well maintained by the museum.

September, 28, 2014

Mike Samodurov participated in the 2014 Nazareth College Piano Competition, Junior category on September 28, 2014.  This year theme of the competition is Composers of 20th Century: Music composed since 1920.  Mike performed Joaquin Turina's "Miniaturas": Caminando, and Dmitri Kabalevsky's Brisk Game.

Mike was awarded a Certificate of Merit.

June 27, 2014

3- hour performance of classical music by Dr. Natalya Hennings for a reception of the artist Bill Judkins on June 27, 2014 at the local Finger Lakes Gallery & Frame, Canandaigua, NY.

2014 season -Seasonal volunteer piano playing at the Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion, May-September every other Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm.

Mike Samodurov -a second year student- took part in the Nazareth College Piano Competition, the Junior category on September 29 2013.

The theme of the competition was the music of the American composer Edward MacDowell.  Mike performed To a Wild Rose by Edward MacDowell, op. 51, No.1 and Kamarinskaya Op.39, No.14 ( Folk Dance) by P.I. Tchaikovsky.

Mike has been awarded a Certificate of Merit.
