Options

This tab allows you to configure the program, but also contains a variety of options that were not included in the other tabs.

Minimize to tray - program is minimized to tray and its icon is displayed there. Otherwise, the program icon is displayed in the taskbar. If the icon is displayed in the system tray, when you hover the mouse on it you can see the version of the program. By pressing the right mouse button brings up a menu with which you can close the program.

Start minimized - program automatically minimized immediately after start.

Attach delay - sets the delay in milliseconds, which makes the program to connect to the poker client after running. This delay may be necessary if there are any issues when running the client at the time when the program is already running. A situation may arise when the client has not had time to start, and the program is already starting to control it, and this can lead to various undesirable consequences.

There is a 1 second delay on the screenshot (1000 ms = 1 s).

Hide BLAST animation - this option will close the contents of the table at the beginning of the BLAST tournament, hiding the initial animation with the choice of the BLAST multiplier. To use this option, you must also enable HUD (HUD / Active option).

Popup table whenever action is required - the program will automatically activate the tables with your turn. If the move on the previous table is not over, the tables will be queued up.

For the correct operation of this option, you must disable the auto-activation options in the poker client (Settings / Game settings / Pop up the game window)

Mouse jump to table - a suboption that will automatically move the mouse to the activated table. This will allow you to play without using the mouse with hotkeys only (since hotkeys work only for the table located under the mouse).

Disable activating of a new tourney tables - this suboption is designed to block the activation of new tournament tables. It will only work if activation is controlled by 888Caption, that is, the Popup table when action is required option must be enabled.

Disable all tables except under mouse - this option blocks all tables, except for the one above which the mouse is located. On the locked tables, the keyboard and some other functions will not work.

Auto 'I am back' (cash table) - this option will automatically click I am back button on a cash table when it appears.

Auto 'I am back' (tournament table) - this option will automatically click I am back button on a tournament table when it appear.

Table under mouse bring to foreground - this option will automatically bring to foreground and activate the table, which is under the mouse.

Auto click 'Wait for big blind' - the Wait for big blind button will be clicked as soon as it appears.

Auto timebank - this option will automatically click the Time bank button on the table as soon as it appears. In a poker client settings, choose Manual in Game settings / Time tank activation (time bank button doesn't work on preflop if you have Time tank activation / Automatic there).

Auto turn off 'Post JP' - the program will automatically click the Post JP checkbox when it is turned on (disable auto post jackpot on the jackpot cash tables).

Auto check for updates - 888Caption will check for updates at running.

Send data to Hand2Note - send dynamic data to Hand2Note. Hand2Note uses data from 888Caption to support a dynamic HUD.

Open quick note window at mouse cursor - if this option is enabled, the quick text editing window will automatically move under the mouse cursor when it appears.

Any decimal separator in the bet box - this option allows you to use any decimal separator when entering value into bet box (both point and comma).

Auto close SnG tables after finishing - if this option is enabled, the 888Caption will automatically close the tournament table on which you won / lost, after a specified number of seconds. The closing time is set using the Closing time option. In order for this option to work, the options for automatically processing the messages about the end of the tournaments on the Dialogs tab must be enabled, 'Thank you for playing in this tournament ...' and 'Congratulations! You won ...! '.

Auto close tourney lobby after table closing - automatically closes the tournament lobby at the close of the tournament table.

Delay processing of the boxes at the end of tournament - this option delays the activation of the options 'Thank you for playing in this tournament...' and 'Congratulations! You won ...! ' in the case when the tournament is over. The delay time is taken from the option Auto close SnG tables after finishing. In order for this option to work, all specified options must be enabled.

The delay is made for the following reason: in the usual situation, when hero leaves the the tournament, closing the dialog boxes does not lead to the closing of the table - the game continues on it, you can put notes, etc. But if the tournament stops at the same time as the leaves / win, the tournament stops (for example, it was a heads-up or the last opponent leaves the tournament before the prizes in DON), closing the dialog box also leads to the closing of the table. This option makes the delay before processing dialog boxes in such situations - this avoids the situation when the table closes too early and the last played hand is not saved in the handhistory file.

Autorefresh [TL_...] tags - activates the automatic update of HUD tags with "TL_" prefix (more info in the HUD description).

Remove topmost style - use this option when you have a bug with always-on-top tables.

Moving tables holding Left+Right mouse buttons - table can be moved by simultaneously pressing the left and right mouse buttons anywhere on the table.

Sit out next bb if stack more than X bb - automatically clicks Sit out next bb checkbox on a table, when your stack is greater than X.

There are two suboptions:

SNAP tables only - option works for Snap tables only.

and close tables - table will be automatically closed after sitting out.

Sit out next hand if stack more than X bb - automatically clicks Sit out next hand checkbox on a table, when your stack is greater than X. There is also a suboption here:

and close table - table will be automatically closed after sitting out.

Full card view - shows your hole cards in full on old 888 tables. With this option, your stack cann't be seen or can be seen in part. To see your stack, use [stack] or [stack_bb] tag in HUD / Player panels. You can disable 'for other players' option for this HUD panel, if you don't want to display stacks of other players.

Work with non-English poker clients - enable this option if you are using a non-English client poker interface. The program can work with any language selected in the client poker settings, but you should not change it after the client is started, otherwise the program will not work or it will work incorrectly. If you want to change the language, after the change, be sure to restart the client (even if the 888Caption is not running at this time).

0-9 keys activate the bet box - if this option is enabled and there is a bet box on the table, pressing the numeric keys will activate it. If there is a Custom bet box on the table, it will be activated instead of an original bet box. This option is designed to simplify the input of bets from the keyboard.

Reconnect - reconnects 888Caption to a poker client.

Reset hotkeys - use this button to reset hotkeys, if the program hotkeys stop working. Also note that for the correct operation of hotkeys, it is necessary to run the program and the poker client as adminr, as described here. It may also be required to run other programs using the global keyboard or mouse interception from as administrator, for example Punto Switcher, Camtasia or Holdem Manager 2.

Auto reset hotkeys - this option will automatically activate Reset hotkeys when problems are detected.

Save options - use this button to force save of settings, if the program does not save the settings automatically when closing the program. Settings are stored in 888Caption.ini file in 888Caption folder, and you can make a copy of it to transfer program settings to another computer or for backup.

Logging

These options are designed to write debugging information to a log file.

Tooltips

These options control tooltips that appear when you hover over a player on old 888 tables (his nickname is displayed there, stack, country and text note).

Show instantly - activates the instant display of tooltips. Typically, the tooltip appears when the mouse delay in one place for a while. If you turn this option, it will appear instantly when the mouse is in the area ofactivation.

Track position - activates the tooltip moving after the mouse cursor.

On top - activates the display of tooltip on top of all windows.

Table cropping

These options control the cropping of the table.

Remove table title bar - removes the table title bar.

Remove table frame - removes the table frame and title bar.

Save size & position - saves the size and position of the table when removing the frame / title bar.

Apply to replayer - applies the options of table cropping also to the replayer.

When the table has no title bar, it can be moved by two mouse buttons ( Moving tables holding Left+Right mouse button option must be enabled for this). You can press the left and right buttons anywhere on the table to move it. If you have the right mouse button assigned hotkey, press the left mouse button first and then without releasing it, press the right - in this case, the hotkey will not work.

To close the table without title bar you can use the Close the table hotkey or the HUD panel where OnClick is set to Close the table (you can make a button with 'X' format string in the upper right corner for convenience).

New tables size & position

These options control the location and size of newly opened tables.

In order to set the size for new tables, open one table, set the desired size and click the top button Get current. The program will automatically fill in the Width and Height fields. Turn on the Set size for the new tables checkbox and when you open each new table, its size will change to the specified size.

In order to set the position for new tables, open one table, position it in the right place and click the bottom button Get current. The program automatically fills the Left and Top fields. Turn on the Set pos for the new tables checkbox and when you open each new table, it will move to the specified location on the screen.

Replayer slot

These options control the location and size of the replayer window.

To set the position of the replayer, open it, then click the Get current button. The program automatically fills the fields Left, Top and Width. Turn on the Active checkbox, and then when you open the replayer, it will always move to the specified position.

If necessary, you can adjust the position and size of the replayer by editing the parameters Left, Top and Width manually.

Import and export

Save settings backup - use this button to save a copy of the program settings - this may be required to move the settings to another computer or for saving them when reinstalling Windows.

Load settings backup - import previously saved settings from a file.
