Betscript

Use this tab to configure the default bets depending on the game situation at the table.

To enable betscript need to turn on the 'Active' 46 checkbox.

Betscript can be used to define the most commonly used sizings for different situations. When there is your turn on the table, betscript will automatically insert the computed value in the bet box. Thus, in most casesyou will not need to change the size of the bet, and will only need to click Bet/Raise (or Check/Fold, if you do not want to bet).

Openraise

1 Here you can set the size of open raises depending on the position of the hero and the presence of limpers.

- in the column 'Raise 1st' you can set open raise size to a situation where no limpers,

- in the column 'vs 1 limp' - isolate vs one limper,

- in the editbox 2 'vs 2+ limp X bb per limper' - how many bb's will increase the size of isolate when limpers more than one (for all positions).

There are open raise sizes for ten positions of FR-table. If you play 9max or 6max tables, you can customize raises only for 9 or 6 lower positions. Also you can set the size of open raise from BU for HU tables.

Example:

Everything is set up as in the screenshot above, Hero is CO on NL10, and it is hero's turn on the table. Betscript will automatically insert the following value in the bet box:

0.25 - if there is no limps or raises before,

0.4 - there is one limper,

0.5 - there are two limpers,

0.6 - there are three limpers.

On the raise size also affects parameter 38 Round bet to / Preflop. For example, if this parameter is set to 50%, then all bets preflop will be rounded up to half of the big blind. Thus, even if you set the open raise size in 2.6bb, it will be rounded up to 2.5, and 2.8 to 3bb.

Tournament openraise

Here you can set the open raise sizes for tournaments. The size is specified depending on the blinds level and the number of limpers, you can set up to 4 different options.

- if the size of the big blind is less than 18, then the default open raize size will be 16 bb, and isolate size will be 16+17*(limpers count) bb.

- if the size of the big blind is greater or equal than 18, but less then 21, then the default open raize size will be 19 bb plus 20 bb per limper.

- if the size of the big blind is greater or equal than 21, but less then 24, then the default open raize size will be 22 bb plus 23 bb per limper.

- if the size of the big blind is greater or equal than 24, then the default open raize size will be 25 bb plus 26 bb per limper.

3bet

Here you can set the size of 3bet, depending on the relative position of the hero, the size of the opponent open raise and whether cold callers.

The size of 3bet is set in times relative to the size of the open raise. You can set up to four different options.

- if your opponent open raises smaller than 5 bb and the hero is IP, then betcript will automatically insert in a bet box value is 3 times greater than the open raise size. (example: NL10, opponent open raises from MP by 23 cents, hero is BU, betscript inserts 4*0.23=0.92 into bet box. Also according to the 38 rounding will be made).

- if hero is OOP, then 3bet will be 4 times the size of the open raise.

- if your opponent open raises greater or equal than 5 bb, but less then 8 bb, then 3bet size will be 6 times IP and 7 times OOP.

- if your opponent open raises greater or equal than 8 bb, but less then 11 bb, then 3bet size will be 9 times IP and 10 times OOP.

- if your opponent open raises greater or equal than 11 bb, then 3bet size will be 12 times IP and 13 times OOP.

You can also specify the size of the increase of 3bet factor in cases when after the raise were calls (that is, for squeeze situations). Parameter 14 is used for this purpose. It increases the 3bet factor by a predetermined value.

Emample: Opponent open raises by 8..11 bb from MP, CO called. Hero is BU, and squeeze size will be equal to the size of an open raise multiplied by 9 + 14 bb (in this situation if open raise was 3bb, squeeze will be 3+1=4 times = 12bb). Increasing the multiplier is performed for each caller.

Parameter 15 increases the size of 3bet for cases where hero is in the blinds (when hero 3bets from BB, 3bet size will be one bb more).

4bet

Here you can set the size of 4bet - IP (27) and OOP (28).

Size is defined in times depending on the 3bet size. These paramerers also will be used for 5bets, 6bets, etc.

Postflop

Here you can set the parameters of bets and raises on the postflop.

Parameters 29, 30 and 31 define the default size of bets on the flop, turn and river. The bet size is defined as a fraction of the size of the pot (0.5 is a half pot bet, 0.75 - three-quarters of pot, 2 - two pots, etc.)

These parameters are used in cases where the hero's turn on the table on the postflop and on this street there were no bets yet.

After calculating the bet amount it rounded up to the value specified in parameter 39. For example, if there is set 50%, then the bet size will be rounded up to the nearest half of big blind.

For specifying size of raises two parameters are used, 'x bet' and 'x pot'.

Raise size is calculated as follows: bet (raise) size of opponent is multiplied by 'x bet' and added to it the size of pot, multiplied by 'x pot'.

Thus, you can set up the raise size depending on the size of the bet or depending on the size of the pot, or any combination of them.

For example, if you want to define the size of the raise on the flop three times more than bet size, then set 32 to 3 and 35 to 0. If you want to raise to one and a half of pot, then set 32 to 0 and 35 to 1.5.

Similarly, you can specify any combination, for example 2*bet+pot/2.

Parameters 33 and 36 are used for define the raise sizes on the turn, and 34 and 37 on the river.

Round bet to

These parameters are used for bets rounding.

Parameter 38 is used for preflop rounding, 39 for postflop. Rounding is done to percent of the big blind.

For example, if 38 is set to 10%, then all preflop bets on NL200 will be rounded to 20 cents. Rounding shall be made in the near side.

If you do not want to bet rounded, set these parameters to 0.

Push if bet > X% of stack

Parameter 40 is used for limit the maximum bet size, calculated by betscript.

If the calculation yields a value exceeding a predetermined, then the program will offer to shove instead of betting/raising. The value is specified as a percentage of the stack of hero.

For example, if opponent did 4bet and betscript calculate a 80bb 5bet size (hero have 100bb stack), then in most of cases it doesn't make sense to raise this size, but you should to go all-in.

Use Pot Bet formula in a raise size calculaions

This option enables using of a pot bet formula in raise size calculations in these situations:

    • Betscript / Postflop / Raise

    • Betscript / Postflop 3bet pot / Raise

This formula also used by default bet buttons in a poker client. It allows you to use bet size at which the opponent will have a predefined odds to call. For example, after pot sized bet (1 or 100%) your opponent will have odds 2:1 or 33%.
