Películas

Pick a movie from the gallery and watch it (Another Spanish language movie you find is okay too). Captions in English are fine. There are movies on a variety of platforms: Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and YouTube (free).

The movie we watched before "One Dollar A Day" is totally an okay option. You can show it to your family. And it is free on YouTube.

I will be watching Zipi y Zape.

Reflect

Choose one of the following or create your own activity:

  • Write a movie review as if you were a critic - How many stars? What is the most exciting part? What could be better? Do you recommend it, why or why not? Who is the best audience for this film?
  • Create an alternate movie poster to advertise the movie. Original artwork or tech-based is fine.
  • Rewrite the plot if the movie were to take place here in WA, what might be different. - For example: the movie Canela - what foods would your family be making to celebrate traditions?
  • Make a one-pager, no blank spaces. A variety of art and words that depicts the movie to you.
  • Create a diorama of your favorite scene using a shoebox or other materials around your home.
  • Make your own project idea.
