Step 1: Get your notebook and pens.

  • Read the snapshot above.
  • Take notes using this video I made for you.
  • To be successful, you may need to pause it several times.
  • Write your notes clearly.
  • Leave room to go back and do 10/24/7.
  • Consider color-coding your notes like I do in the video if you have the resources at home.

Step 3: Guess Who Game? Quien es quien?

  • Use these boards to play "Guess who?" in Spanish
  • Consider the following options
    • Playing with someone you are teaching Spanish
    • Playing with a classmate via text, email, phone call or facetime
    • Ask and answer in English and Spanish with a family member
    • Play the digital game below: (solo option)


Step 4: Application

  • Create your own infographic using the correct forms of ser, tener, y llevar to describe yourself.
  • Create it digitally or on paper (notebook, or poster is fine!)
  • Conjugate the verb to talk in the first person!
    • Look back at your notes, or step 1, if you need to
  • You can use the example as a place to start for inspiration.
    • You can also get creative with it! Let me see your individuality shine!

LEVEL UP:

  • Write an email to a student who is coming to our school and only speaks Spanish. Tell them about yourself. Consider using vocabulary from other units -- maybe "mis favoritos..." and talk about the weather "hace mucho..."

Step 5: Turn it in

To complete your assignment you only have to do the WEEKLY CHECK OUT FORM.
