I have always been interested in making things, and my particular interest in woodturning gives me the opportunity to design and make tooling to hopefully create beautiful wooden objects. I am interested in form and decoration, where it adds value and compliments the natural beauty of the wood, in the hope that this makes for something both unique and pleasing to the eye. This site is a record of my work, with some notes on the methods I have used, particularly on lattice, ornamental and segmented turning. It contains details of the techniques and tools from my personal journey and I have shared some of the better pieces that have emerged from my workshop.
