Year 3

Good morning Year 3!

I hope you have all woken up to a brilliant snowy landscape outside and get a chance to make a snowball or two. While you are staying warm inside, there are lessons for you to complete today. It would be a good idea to gather the tools you need to keep busy with your learning - pencils, paper etc. Do as much as you can, I know that most of you will be excited to spend the day in the snow!

Have a super snow day!

Good Morning, You will find a few learning activities to help you today.

All the assignments for the day are here in one place.

Once you have completed upload them so we can see all your hard work.

Guided Reading

Attached is a festive extract from the Charles Dickins classic 'A Christmas Carol'. This version is a playscript. Try acting this out to help make the characters come to life.

Read the extract carefully - underline details such as names, numbers, dates, interesting vocabulary as you read.

Underline parts of the question that will help direct your attention to the information you are looking for - keywords.

Remember to use evidence form the text to support your answers and prove you are right!

SPaG

As you al enjoyed the WHODUNNIT we set for homework a few weeks ago, I have attached a Christmas mystery for you to solve. Use your SPaG skills to solve the The Curious Case of the Missing Sleigh.

PSHE
