January 26, 2013 Calling for the Turner Ashby Chapter UDC annual ball at the
Spotswood Country Club in Harrisonburg, VA. 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Music by the Shenandoah Valley Minstrels.
The anniversary of our first official dance event.
February 16, 2013 "The Red, White, and Blue & Gray Valentine's Ball" 7:00 to 10:00pm
at the First Presbyterian Church, 17 Court Square, Harrisonburg, VA.
We are calling and the Minstrels will be playing for this free event.
Donations will be accepted to benefit
the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation.
1800's period dress or semi-formal attire is requested.
February 22, 2013 Leading a "barn dance" at the Cornerstone Church by the Lake, 3591 Izaak Walton Dr., Harrisonburg, VA.
6:00 to 9:30 pm. Music by the Galloway's, aka The Virginia Real Band.
February 24, 2013 Leading two dance sessions for the Roanoke County Parks "Civil War Music" event
at the South County Library, Roanoke, VA. 3:00 - 8:00 pm

March 16, 2013 Calling for the Brandy Station Foundation Ball at the Inn at Kelly's Ford.

11:00 am. and 1:00 pm. Dancing to recorded music on the lawn in front of the museum.
April 13, 2013 Leading a dance for the Skirmish at Campbell's Run reenactment weekend at the Antique Steam Engine
Grounds in Twin Bridges located just west of Chambersburg, PA. Recorded music.
April 27, 2013 Calling for the dance at the Oakland, MD reenactment weekend.

May 16, 2013 Introduce our group and a little dancing with the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival Guild at their
monthly luncheon meeting at the Southern Kitchen, New Market, VA. Recorded music.
June 1, 2013 Leading dancing at Court and Market Days, downtown Harrisonburg,
by the Turner Pavilion Farmer's Market. Time: TBD.

June 8, 2013 Leading dancing at Evan Hunsberger's graduation party in Harrisonburg, VA.
Recorded music in their backyard. Good fun!
June 13 & 14, Members of the SVCWED were involved with filming dancing scenes for the upcoming movie
"Field of Lost Shoes" at Westover Plantation on the James River. Fascinating!

Steppingstone Farm Museum. 6:00 - 10:00 pm

July 13, 2013 Calling for the dance at the "Retreat from Gettysburg" reenactment weekend in Williamsport, MD.

7:00 - 10:00 pm in front of the Luray Caverns Valley Museum.

September 9, 2013 Dance demonstration for the Virginia Family and Community Education group's Fall Conference

September 14, 2013 Calling a Barn Dance as a benefit for Page One, our local thrift store, food pantry, and housing assistance center.
7:00 - 10:00 pm at the Luray VFW, Veteran's Lane off Highway 211.
Music by the VA Real Band.
September 22, 2013 Teaching a few dances to those attending the Christ Episcopal Church Homecoming Picnic near Stanley, VA.
We had around 20 willing souls dancing to recorded music on a beautiful Fall afternoon.
September 28, 2013 Dance demonstration and audience participation for the Rappahannock County Civil War weekend.
11:00 - 5:00 pm on the grounds of the Rappahannock Co. library and visitor center on Route 211 east of Sperryville, VA.

October 26, 2013 Calling a dance for the Botetourt Artillery fundraiser at the Charles Hill Senior Center, 82 Washington Ave, Vinton, VA.
7:00 - 10:00 pm. Music by the Lone Ivy String Band.
November 16, 2013 Dance demonstration and audience participation for the Mosby Area Heritage Association at Rockburn,
located at 2224 Crenshaw Road, Marshall, VA 20115. 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Recorded music.
December 31, 2013 Leading dancing in conjunction with First Night Harrisonburg in the Court Square Coffee shop on Court Square in
downtown Harrisonburg, VA. Dancing starts at 7:30 with recorded music.
