The Monterey Peace and Justice Center offers free English as a Second Language classes to anyone wishing to improve their English language skills. Some knowledge and use of basic English language is required.
El Centro de Justicia y Paz de Monterey ofrece clases gratuitas de inglés como segundo idioma a cualquier persona que quiera mejorar sus habilidades en el idioma inglés. Se requiere cierto conocimiento y uso del idioma inglés básico.

ESL ~ ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES
FALL CLASSES START OCTOBER 30, 2023
Clases de inglés como segundo idioma: lunes y jueves, 6 p.m. metro. a 7:30 p. m. metro. en el Centro de Justicia y Paz de Monterey, 1364 Fremont Blvd., en Seaside.
No es necesario registrarse. Se permiten visitas sin cita previa. Buscando asistentes de enseñanza voluntarios de ESL. Por favor comparte esta información.

No registration necessary. Walk-ins welcome. Seeking volunteer ESL teaching assistants. Please share this information.

History: The ESL program was launched in Summer, 2009. Word of mouth, and our highly visible location at 1364 Fremont Blvd. in Seaside, brought an enthusiastic response to the program. The classes were so well received that we are now seeking local sponsorship to fund classes on an ongoing basis.
Be a Sponsor: Enhancing communication among neighbors is a concrete way for us in the Peace Community to think globally and act locally for peace through understanding. Operating costs are modest, and donations of any size are welcome.
