In normal times, the Monterey Peace & Justice Center hosts a variety of events in a room that can hold up to 57 people (theater seating for films and speakers) or 30 people at tables for a potluck or workshop. A large projector screen and audio equipment is also available.

The Center is a popular place for on-going study groups (including classes for English as a Second Language), along with CSUMB Service Learning activities and board meetings for various organizations.
