The Monterey Peace and Justice Center first opened its doors in April 2004, a non-profit organization supported by monthly donations from its ardent supporters. It was designed to serve as a base for the diverse organizations in the Peace Coalition of Monterey County. In 2008 it moved to more spacious quarters in Seaside where it has expanded its programs and educational offerings to the community.
