Escape The Winter

My dream is to escape the winter. I did that all winter in 2013/2014 by going to Australia and New Zealand. And back in the past I did two winter months Curaçao and a short part of the winter in Mexico. But that is not enough, because there is still winter ... I have therefore come up with 5 reasons why I should live in southern Spain in the winter.

Speak Spanish

I am fluent in Spanish. There is certainly room for improvement, and I am working on that. But I wouldn't have to leave it for the language. And yes, if I live in the country, I will learn the language faster because I am required to speak it.

Spring Temperatures In Winter

In southern Spain, lovely temperatures prevail in winter, namely spring temperatures. During the day, take off the jacket and sit in the sun. I can be much more outdoors without shivering from the cold.

Rain

The rainy season is mainly in the spring, so during the winter I will not be bothered by that. Sounds heavenly after an autumnal winter this year.

Delicious Food

This may be my idea, but I think fruit tastes better in Spain and South America than in The Netherlands. And also in winter there is still fresh fruit there in Spain. It is not only about the fruit, but also the olives and fish. The whole food culture is different and delicious!

Pace Of Life

Life is just a bit calmer in Spain than here in The Netherlands. It is between South America and The Netherlands. And I think I would like that?!? Don't write blogs when I am tired of being all day around people and it is raining all day.
