2022 Sprint Results

Stats:  72% used FlDigi, 17% used Ham Radio Deluxe, and 11% used MultiPSK

Several logs were submitted as adif files with a lot of extra fields included. The website has tutorials for submitting text logs with required info using FlDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe, and FlDigi logging programs.

The multipliers (counted once per contest) are the number of States, Provinces and DX Countries worked.

If you are operating QRP, then every contact you make counts for the extra QRP bonus. If you contact another QRP, then twice the bonus for that contact!

Thanks to all that operated and submitted entries.

November "Turkey" Sprint

Thanks to the turkeys - N3HND, VA3PC and HB9FIH. Erich reported no contacts during his "Turkey Time" - Niece asks if you wish to be a "Turkey" or a "Leprechaun" next year, let her know in a week in advance so she can plan for the event.

October "Full Day of Hell" Sprint

Only three entries this FDoH (probably due to CQWW SSB participation), all were in NA QRO category.

October "Spooky" Sprint

Niece made contacts on 10m, most of the other entries were on 40 and 15m.

September "Hell on Wheels" Sprint

Nice to see some DX entries in this sprint.  With the bands improving, hopefully 15m and 10m will have signals for the Spooky Sprint - no 20m allowed !

August "Grid Locator" Sprint

Most of the QSO's were on 20M. Keith G0CXP was operating marine mobile, and didn't report hearing any signals. He suggests a special contest next year to be held on the summer solstice. We'll see what we can do to make it happen

July "Worked All Americas" Full Day of Hell

Thanks to the 23 entries received. A couple of logs were not attached, so calculations were made based on the input provided.

July "Early Bird" Sprint

Only three hardy souls braved the early morning sun. Coffee and keyboard in hand - no doubt.

June "Field Day" Sprint

Thanks to those who operated in the special categories.

May "Hamvention" Sprint

Thanks to those who participated.

April FDoH "WAAAEO" Sprint

All 9 entries were NA stations, and no one worked any DX, so the multiplier this sprint was 1 for everyone.

We had 8 entries this month.

March "Leprechaun" Sprint

There were 13 entries this month, all submitted in the NA QRO class. Thanks to those chasing the two Leprechauns WA1LAD and W4ALE.
Niece KA1ULN tried to recruit some Irish Leprechauns, but none answered the call. Perhaps next year.

Frebruary "Bingo" Sprint

We had 15 entries in this Sprint. Thanks to all that submitted entries.

January Full Day of Hell (WAAAEO Sprint)

Well, we didn't have any entries, in part to two things. For some reason it wasn't advertised in the Contest Calendar, and the link to submit entries wasn't activated properly. As a consequence, we have decided to make the April Full Day of Hell the WAAAEO sprint, and the sprint schedule was adjusted accordingly. We may in the future look at cancelling the 5th Saturday FDoH sprints when there is a major CW or RTTY contest that may cause mutual interference.

January "Low Down" Sprint   Jan 15-16, 2022

We had 12 entries in this year’s Low Down Sprint.

The Low Down Sprint is focused on using the 40m, 80m, and 160m bands with more points awarded per QSO on 80m and 160m.

Thanks to all who participated.
