Discipleship Programme for Children

It is our Responsibility to Nurture Children,

love them and teach them the unchanging message of Christ’s love.

We all as Children Leaders agree that children need a solid spiritual foundation, but what is the best way to make that happen?

The Discipleship Programme for Children was developed in 2012 by the Church of Uganda and the American Publishers, David C Cook, it is centred on the whole child; their spiritual lives and also their social, physical, and emotional lives. This holistic programme encourages children to know that God wants to be involved in their lives, and not just into a box that is only opened on Sundays.

Forming a Children's Discipleship Club offers an opportunity for the children to have more time with their teachers each week. CoU Children's Discipleship programme will help the teacher/ leader in Exploring and Discovering how to help children with their day to day challenges more easily.

The programme incorporate small groups of 30 children in a participative Bible Study which is age-appropiate with application themes that transform young lives. Childrens Discipleship Clubs will equip leaders to help children put Christ in every aspect of their lives.
