NEHC ARES Net

Weekly on Thursday @ 8 PM

The Northeast Harris County, ARES Net meets for the purpose of encouraging communications and training ARES members and other radio amateurs in Northeast Harris County, East Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.

ARES Harris County Wide Area Net

Fifth (5th) Sunday of the month

Repeater, Frequency, Offset and Tone will be announced by mass group email prior to the net.

The purpose of the wide area net is to conduct an efficient District 14 ARES WAN on the last Sunday of each month that has five Sundays. The purpose is to promote greater association to strengthen the spirit of cooperation between all four District 14 ARES Units, adjacent counties and counties within the reach of local repeater coverage zones. All ECs are encouraged to aggressively promote the participation of as many of their members as possible.

Weekly on Monday @ 7:30 PM

Frequency 3.873 MHz LSB

Sam Houston Amateur Radio Klub (SHARK) Skywarn Net

Weekly on Thursday @ 8PM and any time a severe storm is in the area

The net is open to anyone wishing to participate in storm spotting, reporting and all weather related items.

Net Control will report severe weather information to the NWS.
