A combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods was employed to assess the project's progress and impact on participants:
Surveys and questionnaires.
Meetings and feedback sessions.
Checklists of project activities.
Journals and interviews about impressions on mobilities.
Results
Throughout the two-year project, both students and teachers completed assessment forms after each phase. This enabled us to conduct ongoing formative assessments, allowing for timely adjustments to content, methodologies, and any other aspects necessary for the project's success.
We tracked progress and observed remarkable improvements among our students. They improved their knowledge in various areas including environmental awareness, intercultural competence, communication, social skills, language proficiency, and proficiency in using online tools and engaging in collaborative learning. Students showcased increased knowledge about the importance of preserving water resources and adopting sustainable practices.
Educators experienced growth in teaching techniques, English communication skills, and ICT proficiency. Regular meetings facilitated the exchange of ideas and best practices, leading to the development of lasting partnerships and networks between the schools.
Moreover, feedback from parents meetings provided further understanding of the project's impact on students and families. Involving families and local institutions strengthened community bonds and enhanced the European dimension of our institutions, fostering collaboration beyond school boundaries.
