Massive Online Open Courses

Massive online open courses (MOOCs) allow access to a wide variety of online courses from Third Level colleges around the world. 

While a certificate from a MOOC isn’t the same as a college degree, MOOCs are providing access to world-class education to anyone with an internet connection, which opens up a world of possibilities. For instance, a secondary can take a MOOC as a means to revision or to discover if a particular Third Level course is suitable. 

Students can take / explore many courses on these platforms for free without having to pay for certificates.
