Search options

Default operator AND (breast cancer retrieves the same results as breast AND cancer)

Boolean operators AND OR (AND is processed before OR)

Phrase searching "breast cancer"

Nesting (BREAST OR COLON) AND CANCER

If parentheses are not used, the terms are searched in the following order of precedence: AND, OR

   i.e. breast OR colon AND cancer will be searched as breast OR (colon AND cancer) 

Truncation There does not seem to be a truncation operator

Field tags Field searching is available in the 'Advanced' search option.

Hyphens non-randomized, nonrandomized, non randomized and “non randomized” all return different results, so should all be searched separately
