Become a Member of Menihek Nordic Ski Club Today!
Menihek grooms over 30 km of trails each day for both classic and skate-style skiing. All skiers, from novice to expert, can find a trail to suit their own individual needs. Trails are groomed by a PB-100 PistenBully snow groomer and a skidoo with Ginzu groomer. Several cozy cabins are located strategically on the trails for members to use for a quick warm-up and to have a rest. Snowshoers with a pass can also avail of our incredible ski trails, along with their own marked trail system.
Your Menihek ski experience does not have to end as the sun sets behind Smokey Mountain. You can still ski under the stars on our eight (8) km of lit trails. Why not head out for an evening of night skiing under the lights!Â
Interpretive Trails
Menihek truly offers year-round recreation and enjoyment. Why not take a leisurely hike up to our beautiful waterfall, one of the more photographed places in Labrador West? The Menihek waterfall is a tranquil spot right in the heart of our trail system where you can delight in the soothing sounds of water as it cascades down over the rocks. If you are looking for more of a challenge, hike to the top of the falls and make a wish in the wishing well. You can also learn all about the local flora as you take a gentle stroll along one of our other incredible trails. We are sure our trail system you will expose you to the Labrador wilderness at its very best!
