Snowshoeing is enjoyable for family enthusiasts, causal/overnight hikers, and those looking for extreme workouts. Take advantage of all of our trails to trail for the Great Labrador Loppet.
Snowshoeing doesn't require a large investment or a steep learning curve. Just put on a warm pair of boots, dress for the temperature and rent yourself a pair of snowshoes, right here at Menihek Nordic Ski Lodge! Don't hesitate any longer, you can start today.
Looking for a snowshoe trail that welcomes your dog? Try Tucker's Trail across the road from the entrance to Menihek Nordic Ski Club. MNSC has developed a 1.6 km snowshoe trail with the assistance of Ross O'Keefe, who marked it with signs, flagging and reflective tape. This designated snowshoe only trail encourages you to bring your dog along. Dog owners are asked to keep their pets under control and pick-up waste to deposit in the Club's dumpster across from the trail head. See photos for trail map and start of Tucker's Trail.
