We look forward to welcoming you to this virtual gathering! This session is an opportunity for the organizing committee to meet participants, for participants to meet each other, and for conference organizers to be accountable for this organizing space. In the first half of this session, the organizing committee will sharing with participants how this virtual gathering came about, what design principles were used in assembling our offerings, and how the organizing committee imagines the gathering will unfold. The second half of this session is largely un-programmed and left open for questions and feedback from those in attendance. The conference organizers will take notes and follow-up as needed.
