Wellness Break with Mental Health Therapist Kyeisha Hodge

This free event requires advance registration through Zoom and participation will be limited to 85 people on a first come, first served basis.

The organizing committee is excited to present "An Introspective hour with Mental Health Therapist Kyeisha Hodge, LMHC, M.S.Ed."

During this hour Kyeisha will guide you through self exploration in the form of questions and other exercises. Kyeisha recognizes that conference topics and discussions can weigh heavy on the mind and heart long after they are finished. This space is designed to help you connect with yourself, exhale and locate where you are at the moment. Please note that participants will be asked to communicate by typing reactions and answers into the Zoom text box. Participation is of course optional. Kyeisha will also be reviewing 3 mental health tips that are relevant to working with potentially traumatized populations at the end of the hour.

Kyeisha Hodge is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in the mental health field for almost a decade. She assists clients in detoxing from trauma's lies, nurturing self love, and designing a thriving life. Her work also serves biracial individuals who have parents that are different races and find it hard to navigate the complexities of their racial identity.

Kyeisha is a proud champion of her fellow helping professionals which has led to the creation of "Healing the Healers" (HTH) which contracts with small and large organizations committed to prioritizing the wellness of healers. For years HTH has served the needs of healers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Watching healers and clients reconnect with their passion, curiosity, and "play" is a highlight of the work she does.

Kyeisha's powerful "Roots of Restoration '' healing circle for black and brown women will start again this summer and helps participants work to restore their self-love, self-trust, power, self- worth, play/joy, and values.
