    • Block Instructions: To make your trapezoid looking flying geese, use a straightedge and a fabric marking pen to draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all your 2 ½” squares from Fabric C. Since this print is directional make sure your prints are facing in the same direction before drawing half of your diagonal lines to the let and the other half to the right. Place each square pretty sides together onto each end of a 2 ½” x 6 ½” strip. Making sure your diagonals are facing towards the center of your strip. Pin your pieces together and take all your pieces to your sewing machine. Chain piece your units together. Trim your seam allowances to 1/4” and press your pieces open. Sew four sets of two trapezoid flying geese together.

    • All your units are complete and it's time to sew up your block! Sew a trapezoid flying geese unit to each side of your 6 ½” square from Fabric A. Now sew a 4 ½” square from Fabric D to each side of your remaining trapezoid flying geese units. Press your seams in alternating directions and sew your rows together.

    • Your Easter Lily Block is complete. :)
