ARES Info

2-mtr Slim-JimARES is the Amateur Radio Emergency Service and is a service branch of the American Radio Relay League. ARES is made up of amateur radio operators who have registered their time and equipment in order to be a useful communicator in times of disaster.

To join ARES in Tennessee, contact your county Emergency Coordinator (EC). Your county EC can be found by going to the internet site: www.tnarrl.org/. Or you could visit a local ham club meeting and ask who the EC is for that county.
