Not too busy day today,

I had to go and pick up my memorystick that I left behind on Friday, in my eagerness to finish work! It gave me an opportunity to say goodbaye to some members of staff that I did not see on Friday...

I started packing all my gear into my pannier boxes to see where everything should go, the logic is to pack the stuff that I will not need on a daily basis at the bottom, however the heaviest stuff also needs to go into the bottom as it keeps the centre of gravity of the bike low. So I was packing and unpacking for some hours.. It all seems to fit with some space left over for clothes, however after a quick weighing excersise its clear that I might be a bit over the weight limitation, will have to see where I might be able to shed some!

Tomorrow will be my last day in London, still have a couple of things to do,

I have to go and get socks, Coffee, Sugar, Powdered milk from the local supermarket.

Cancel my eaurope bike insurance from when I arrive in Africa.

Check and re-check all my paperwork.

Set up the suspension of the bike and take it out for a short ride to see how it behaves with the weight distribution.

I still await brake pads bought on e-bay as well as long distance footpegs, so hopefully it arrives in time for my departure.

The last thing I need to do tomorrow is skype with my daughter Shanel (I have been on London for 3,5 months now), she is three and a half years old, and will not be able to see daddy for another two months! She expects me to bring her a small motorbike, as she explains that mine might be too big for her...I miss her, my country my life and my family, but I have to fulfill this dream, how many people out there will be helped by my efforts..
