Quick update on where I am with the planning.

Not much more to do really, only to service the bike, pick up some electronic parts pack my bags and then I should be ok to go. I just hope I have not forgotten anything...

In the mean time, BMW offered assistance with servicing the bike and supplying offroad tyres, they also said that they will give me discount on parts required - well done BMW, after such a struggle to get them interested in the idea of helping me with this innitiative.

Cyber Africa has offered an eMarketing campaign as well as to host my website, thank you Ian! This takes so much worries away from my trip, now it will be so easy to update and to keep all the parties that are following my tyre tracks and the dust clouds up to date on my progress.

Its not really dawned on me what I am taking on, but I am sure that it will soon enough. The general reaction of people around me are quite unique. Some people will say 'are you out of your mind, is it not dangerous in Africa, you doing it on your own, you must be mad', then the complete opposite would be 'I have always wanted to do it, fantastic, good luck' and so on. The admiration in peoples eyes are just the most humbling thing. I am so fortunate to be able to take this on.

I cannot wait.
