The Thought Experiment

Aftermath

Polaroids

I like to work with staged photographs of my previous ephemera, it creates yet another angle to view the work.

Here is a B/W film of Polaroid 600 taken on the set/installation.

I have acquired another shop window manikin who is now dressed in the scrubs, busy doing something.

Scans

Using my wand scanner i traversed some of the surfaces. These again are another way of looking at the work.

The anamorphic effect pushes abstractions, giving clues as to how i might proceed. Spinoza's ethics in praxis?

BwO Combination

Slowed down and focused, noir.

Ken Burns

Body without Organs; immanent transcendence of desire.

The Anatomical Simulacra and Sublime

Pinhole 4 x 5: f 254 / Fomapan 100 asa (developed in Adox Rodinal)

Finally i get around to developing the film from one of my home made large format cameras.

WARNING: The last 3 photos are of actual human organs, taken on my visit to the medical school, some may find them disturbing.
