EQUIPMENT RESOURCES

1. Baseball Bat <- click BBCOR 33"/30 oz or 32"/29 oz. 2-5/8" Barrel diameter are popular sizes (North High has extra bats)

2. Baseball Gloves <- click 11-1/2" or 12" is a General Glove size for infields, 12-3/4" for Outfielders, then 1B and/or Catchers

3. Baseball Helmets <- click (Black) Double Ear Flapped/NOCSAE Red is reserved for Varsity Players

4. Baseball Shoes/Cleats <- click (Black/White) Metal Cleats are preferred by most HS level players, turf shoes/training shoes are inside/batting cage shoes that a player should always have in the Baseball Equipment Bags. Molds are nice to have on turf playing surfaces.

5. Baseball Cap <- click (North High School will provide upon placement)

6. Baseball Equipment Bags (Black/White)

7. Water Jug (Insulated)

8. Baseball Caps, Jerseys, Pants will be provided by North High

9. Baseball practice pants ALL WHITE w/RED Piping, belts RED, and socks RED that should be purchased by Parents. (Outdoor Baseball)

10. Black training shorts/sweat pants, white/red/black t-shirts and/or long t-shirts, white/red/black sweatshirts (Indoor/Outdoor Baseball)

11. Catching Equipment (North High has extra equipment) NOCSAE certified catching equipment only, to include goalie style helmets only. Protective Cups are to be worn as a catcher, NOT AN OPTION!

12. Protective cup and mouth guards are highly suggested! Elbow guards, Ankle Guard, Wrist Guards, Hand Guard, Jaw Guards, Sliding Compression Shorts, Wrist Wrap Tape, Eye Black, Sunglasses, Wrist/Head Bands, Pine Tar, Bat Grip Sprays, Rosin Bags, Jaeger Bands, Plyo Balls, Massage Balls, Rolling Pins, Towels, Shoulder Tube/Wand, Wrist Weights, Compression Wraps, and Batting Gloves are not required but can be "addition equipment" to protect your player from injuries.

13. AT HOME TRAINING: Tanner T - Bownet - Any Wall - Racket Balls, Tennis Balls, Baseballs, Soft golf balls, Weights, J-Bands, Plyo Balls

Pro tip #1- Buy neutral colors Black, White, Grey, Tan/Brown (Gloves)... many leagues and teams will have different colors. Neutral Colors will be universal. BLACK is the preferred color for Batting Helmets for JV and below teams at North High.

Pro tip #2- A $400 bat does NOT fix a $5 swing and hitting approach. With that being said, quality brands hold the test of time... look for hidden gems that may be used to save on your equipment cost. (Rawlings, Wilson, Mizzino, Louisville Slugger, Easton, Marucci, DeMarine, EVO, All-Star)

Pro tip #3- Ask upperclassmen what they may have extra, some do not use their old gloves, bats, etc... They may want to bargain you a deal!

Pro tip #4- CLEAN YOUR EQUIPMENT! Soft soaps, disinfected sprays, and glove oil saves you money!
