Leo is a 4th semester music performance student at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, where he can be found performing with the university's top ensembles. This summer he is honored to be part of the Kids From Wisconsin in their 52nd summer tour. His musical interests range from big band jazz to baroque music to traditional Purhépecha sones and pirekuas from Mexico. While he has not yet completed academic research in the field of music, he plans to start a project to track and examine the role of the bass trombone in jazz and pop music in the last 100 years.
